Are you interested in making a difference in your community? Do you want to address issues like domestic violence and create solutions for change?
If so, Jahajee's Leadership & Empowerment Institute is for you! This is a year-long program that will train you to become a bold & courageous feminist leader.
We are delighted to invite you to be a part of this intergenerational program this fall! We welcome all women, girls and gender non-binary people ages 13 and up to apply.
The application deadline is SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2024.
Through the Institute you will:
(1) Start your journey toward healing and growing your confidence & self-esteem;
(2) Receive political education to build your understanding of different social issues and injustices affecting our Indo-Caribbean community; and
(3) Learn skills to become a transformative leader who can create lasting change.
We will also have a dedicated cohort for young people ages 13-21 who will go through the program together and have time to connect and socialize with each other.
Join us for our October member meeting, where we'll come together to brainstorm, plan, and envision the future of our community. This meeting is a chance for us to connect, share ideas, and lay the foundation for impactful change.
Join us for the grand finale of our Art + Activism Series & Open Mic on 10.18 at Kaieteur Liberty! Our October event promises an unforgettable evening with an extraordinary lineup of talented artists, ready to fill your night with energy and inspiration.
